If you are like me, you must be a deep thinker. So at every point in my life, there are things that make so much sense.

Stephanie B. Osugo

As a younger lady in University (I am still young), I bought a book titled “Living by Choice or by Chance”. Right now I can’t remember the author of that book. But some of the truths of the book still come to me from time to time, more so now as a parent. There are a lot of things I see and I observe from being a parent to two children that is making me relive these lines again. As a farmer who cannot just plant seeds and let them run wild without watering, weeding, fertilizing, harvesting and preserving, see your life and the commitment of parenthood as such.
Have you ever seen a well-disciplined, articulate and brilliant child, somebody worked hard on that child? Have you seen an unruly, ill-mannered and rude child, someone worked hard too on that child; worked hard on letting the child grow by chance?
The laziness of parents will be reaped in their children unfortunately.
So get working people. The gains outweigh the sacrifices. There is grace for the race.
