Looking good they say is good bussiness, Pamela Turai is CEO of A.L NICHE Limited ,she spends her time making people look good with her spa and healthy food.In this interview  with Comfort Yakubu , she speaks on her journey into the skin care industry and tells us  how to achieve that Glowing skin

.

“I  am a mother to two exceptional boys, a wife and a serial entrepreneur and business woman. I am 38yrs old, an indegene of Kaduna state; proudly Atyap and presently a resident of Lagos State’.

I am the CEO of A.L Niche Ltd and we presently have  two subsidiaries; Ayet Holistic Spa and Ayet Products.”Ayet Holistic Spa is an organic traditional Spa that caters to a healthy skincare regime and the use of herbs, roots and food ingredients for a wholistic, sustainable and safe skincare routine. We render skincare services at our Spa as well as the sales of Organic skincare products for home use.

Ayet products is our second subsidiary which is primarily focused on clean eating and a healthy lifestyle . We produce and sell non alcoholic beverages made from fresh fruits and roots like ginger lemonade drink, our sugar free zobo, tamarind drink and whole foods like tofu and Fura. Most of our Ayet products are popular to northern Nigeria but adapted for a global healthier clientele. We believe that food CAN be your medicine”

She explains  she started Ayet products when she moved from Abuja to Lagos because there is this widely believed misconception that the north  doesn’t have much by way of delicacies. ‘So I wanted to introduce my North to the south while keeping it healthy. Also to show that healthy doesn’t have to be bland or boring’ she adds”A healthy lifestyle is the entire wellbeing of our spirit, soul and body. Mental health, exercise, the right diet, positivity, meditation and so on,Healthy and skinny are not synonymous”

“That you are slim may be a generic factor so we must all focus on eating right, exercising and taking care of our mental health (exercise help that a lot too)”. With age a woman’s body seems to start working against her. Things begin to take their toll and we need to up the ante; for everyone actually, in an attempt to play catch up. Our body demands more and forgives less, our metabolism slows down, our hormones are raging and we need to focus on the nutrients we are taking in and how it is the necessary fuel our body need

The perfect skincare routine

I don’t believe that there is anything like the perfect skincare routine that will apply to all. It’s not a one size fits all kind of situation but I’ll say the necessary musts are…….,Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Then exfoliate intermittently and wash at least twice daily.

Beauty Tips for women

Pls don’t bleach or tone your skin. There is no skin shade that isn’t beautiful. Especially for melanin queens. Focus on polishing and glowing your skin and no matter how light or dark you are , you will fall in love with yourself all over again.

Also taking care of your skin doesn’t mean you need a 100 products in your routine. I personally find it absolutely unnecessary.

Your skin won’t be good  of the time. Cut your self some slack. Sometimes, your skin will act out, especially for women with hormones and all, take it in good stead and keep doing what works for you.
