“Restorationists, Not Separatists: The Ambazonian Struggle for National Legitimacy and Justice”

We are not Cameroonian Separatists *and have never been. We are Southern* Cameroons(Ambazonia) Nationalists/Restorationists.

Language has meaning and implications. Nigeria is fighting separatists in her own backyard and can’t be seen sympathetic or supporting separatists in another sister African country. Our struggle for National Restoration is legitimate and legally grounded. OAU Summit of Cairo 1964 Resolution and the AU Constitutive Act, Art.6 . The UN Plebiscite of 1961 was an imposition, illegal and to make things worse, UNGA landmark mark Resolution 1608 of April 21, 1961 was never implemented and lRC backed by France annexed and to date is in military occupation of our country. Annexation is a crime in international law. And self determination is an inherent and unquestionable right under international law.

We are Liberators and Restorationists not separatists. You can only separate from what you were a part. From 1916 to 1960 when French Cameroun got her independence from France, British Southern Cameroons territorially distinct by boundary demarcations of 1916, 1919, 1922, boundary treaty of 1939, and sealed by the Anglo-French Trusteeship Agreement of 1946, was never one territory with Camerounaise Francaise.
